---Getting to know the academy
Scott's POV
I exhaled and glanced around the lobby. A huge chandelier with crystal bulbs hung above. The thick black tiles reflected the people that walked on it. Two half turn staircases raised from the lobby, joining together and forming a balcony. The rails of the stairs was of shimmering gold. The elegance of the whole place made me feel that I didn't belong here.
"Hey." Gabrielle waved at me, making me to drop my gaze on her. "I know it's all happening too fast. But trust me, you'll get used to it soon." She still had that warm smile on her face. The smile weirdly seemed to calm me down.
