Chapter 25She had sketched the large design of Bacchus and now began to paint from the ceiling on down. The largest of all the murals, she wanted to make sure it stayed memorable, so she could take a good photo of it, and apply for a job at a respectable place. The idea that her work would remain on the walls of a house of ill repute, no matter how stately and glamorous, tarnished her earlier enthusiasm. Right now, she knew they owned her. Making any hasty moves would give her nightmares about the future. For now, she maintained a calm exterior and she had to keep showing her passion for art.
