I felt it in my chest before I knew what was going on. Alexa didn't say anything for a few moments, just avoiding my eyes as she clearly hid something from me.
"Alexa? What's going on?"
She took a deep breath and finally met my eyes. There was darkness in her eyes for a moment, something like a mixture of pain and apology. The way she looked did not make me feel more comfortable.
"Alexa? What happened?"
There was a clear moment when she swallowed the tension in her body as she took a deep breath and started to speak.
"Raven... Raven is not here right now... he left."
My eyes were concentrated on her face and I knew for sure that she was not telling me something.
"Alexa, what happened?"
I asked her again, this time a lot more calmer, but my voice sounded a lot more stern. The change
