I walked towards the doors back into the castle, the only entrance onto the rooftop. In my mind I was trying to come up with the right words to ask my sister for help, but before I even reached the door I heard my name being shouted.

Almost no one in the castle knows about this terrace. Worried that either I or Alexa would accidentally kill ourselves by slipping off the edge, my mother locked this place up. So only a few of the older staff members knew about it. I only found it by accident. I was looking through the castle plans and found a staircase that I hadn't seen before. It was masterfully hidden away by a wall and some furniture.
