He will pay!

Freya’s POV: “Here comes the bad blood.” A chubby woman, whose weight was enough to crush a king-sized bed said as I stepped into the eatery. I hissed under my breath, and walked straight to the attendant without saying a thing. “I would love a plate of…” A sudden force knocked me over, sending the remaining words back to my vocal cord. I staggered a few steps, hitting my head against the glass table. A big rough hand suddenly grabbed me by my hair, pulled my head up and tore the face towel away from my face. It was the chubby woman. A wave of roaring laughter swept across the place. I yanked her hand away, a rush of annoyance gushing through my nerves. “So, it is true you were slapped by Vanessa?” She asked, her voice laced with mockery. I sighed. Turned to the attendant who also seemed to be enjoying the show, and dropped some notes on the counter. “Get me a bowl of rice, please.” I said to her, but before she could reach for the money, the chubby woman immediately grabbed the notes from the counter. I ran my palms over my hair, then across my face. A frustrated sigh escaped me. “What the hell do you want from me?” I muttered in between gritted teeth. My eyes pierced through hers. She scoffed. “Declan is not here to defend you. What can the daughter of a traitor like you do alone?” My blood ran cold. That was it. She had pushed her luck too far. A smirk crept up my lips. “At least I don’t spend my days chasing weak omegas just to end up rejected every single time.” Her face flushed in embarrassment as my voice cut through her ears. Everyone gasped, and some couldn’t contain their laughter and began to laugh so hard. I snatched my money from her, dropped it in front of the attendant and grabbed a plate of food. The woman still stood in shock. Her mouth wide opened, and eyeballs popped out of their sockets. I let out a dry smile as I walked past her. “Swallowing a fly would only add to your problems, so shut that grumpy hole of yours.” A resounding laughter hit the ground like an earthquake that threatened to tear apart the whole building. I took a deep breath as I walked out of the eatery. The troubles were never ending. I tied the face towel across my face, and headed straight to my house. I had only walked a few distance when something flew right across my face, landing at my feet. I took a glance. It was Quinn’s book. I raised my head sharply, and saw a figure cut across a corner. I picked up the book and instantly followed the figure. Quinn was most likely in trouble. “Go back Freya, go back!” Quinn screamed as I stepped into an abandoned old building. “Quinn!” I yelled on top of my voice. I rushed towards him but was immediately pulled back by a strong hand that threatened to dislocate my arm from my shoulder. The food I held in my hand dropped, and the contents soiled by earth. A mocking laughter suddenly filled the room as Brett stepped out from one of the rooms. “Look who we have here. Declan’s side chick?” He mocked, while his friends burst out laughing. “If you are man enough, Brett, come after me. Leave the innocent child alone.” I screamed at him, as I struggled to free myself from his friend’s grip. Brett laughed. He took a few steps close to me, and slowly dragged his finger across my face. “What a pity. Your face is disfigured from Vanessa’s slap.” He giggled, and I spat on his face angrily. He wiped off the saliva from his face and scoffed. “He will pay for that.” He mumbled, his voice barely above a whisper. He turned around and charged towards Quinn. “Brett! Leave him alone. Don’t you dare touch…” “Flash!” He landed a kick right across Quinn’s legs causing him to drop face-down to the floor. The remaining words got stuck in my throat, and everything seemed to stop moving as I stared at Quinn lying on the floor, his face bruised. “That is what you get for associating with a traitor, a bad blood.” He spat on him. He didn’t stop there. He took all of Quinn’s books and tore them to pieces. “This should teach you a valuable lesson!” He laughed, dumping the torn pieces all over Quinn’s head. “Let’s go, boys.” He ordered, taking the lead out of the building. His friend released me, and I hurried to Quinn, lifting him up. To my greatest shock, Quinn smiled as I lifted him up “I am fine, Freya. They can’t hurt me.” He grinned, his full teeth visible. I sighed. Took a glance all over his body, and helped him dust his clothes with my right hand while I pinched myself at the back with my other hand. “They’ve gone too far, and they will pay for their sins!” Vanessa’s POV: “So what do you think, general Rhodes?” I uttered with a smile, stared at the pack’s general as I sipped from my glass of wine. I dropped the glass on the table, rested my back on the chair and crossed my left leg across the right. “My lady. I…” The general stuttered, his eyeballs dashing sideways as he avoided direct eye contact with me. My smile widened. I dipped my hand into my bag, and took out a disc which I placed on the table, right in front of the general. He raised his head sharply at me, then fixed his gaze on the disc. “Insert it.” I ordered, pointing my hand at the DVD player that sat in the corner of the room. He sat still, eyes still fixed on the disc. He knew the contents of the disc, his past trauma, a pain he bore for over twenty years. The smile I had on suddenly dissipated as I sat up. “Did you forget how your family died? Your wife! Your children! How they all died tragically because of Nolan's family! Did you forget them all?!” I screamed at him. I banged my hand on the table, and he finally rested his eyes on me. “It was all in the past!” He said meekly. “NO! You are wrong. It’s the present. Freya is still out there. She is a dangerous temptation, and she is lurking around Declan!” I yelled out once again. My voice echoed across the room, and I could feel hot blood coursing through my veins at double speed. “If another war breaks out because of the traitor’s daughter, how many people would lose their lives. Do you think Declan will still be able to keep his position as the future Alpha? Heck! Do you think you will be able to keep your head on your neck?” I paused. Leaned my head forward, and smirked. “Remember how you moved that blade through her father’s head, how you cut through her mother’s…” “Stop! Just stop it, okay?” He burst out suddenly, cutting me out of my words. I smiled. Leaned back on my chair as I watched him take a deep breath. “You are right! Freya is a bug that needs to be taken care of before she spreads her influence across the pack. I will discuss with Alpha Victor now, and I believe we will reach a consensus about it. I doubt she will be a thorn in the flesh in the coming days.” He said to me, and a slow grin spread across my lips. My plan had worked!
