  Victoria's POV   The morning dawned crisp and cold, the faint light of dawn filtering through a thin veil of frost dusting the windowpanes. I sat on the edge of my bed, staring out at the icy patterns, lost in thought.   Despite the chill in the room, I could still feel the lingering warmth of Dominic's steady gaze from yesterday. His penetrating eyes had followed me even in my dreams, leaving a mark that I couldn't shake.
