AURORA'S POV The shadow of her towering figure fell over me, and I froze. My breath caught in my throat the instant I saw the iron bar in her hand, glinting under the dim torchlight. I swallowed hard as she raised it, a playful smirk on her lips. Panic surged through me, and instinctively I shut my eyes, burying my face in my hands. “Haha! You should have seen your face,” Sera laughed, and suddenly she pulled me into a tight, unexpected hug. “You… frightened me,” I managed to say, my voice tight, careful. I avoided looking at her directly; the last thing I needed was to do something reckless and earn Damion’s wrath. “Relax, this is for Larry.
