Day one:part two

I still couldn't figure out what was going on, how was I back here,
“ You seem confused, anything I could help clarify,”
“ It's you, how did I get back to this morning again and why did my mother die, she wasn't ment to,”
“ Remember what I told you, whatever you change in the past affects everyone, you prevented Mr Anderson to go pick up Max thus saving him from the ambush, there was a drunk driver who was stopped because of the ambush wasn't stopped so when your mother was going to the market, she got hit, you changed their fate,”
“ But I don't remember my mother going to the market,”
“ How could you have when Mr Anderson got into an accident you all rushed to the hospital, was your mother there,”
She was right, my mother wasn't home after we heard about the accident and she only found out about an hour later. How could I save everyone if I didn't know exactly what happened.
“ The reason you are back it's because you are given three chances to change the past according to how you would like it to be, that's why unless you are fine with that day,the day will automatically restart, but this only happens three times, once those changes are over, you can't change it anymore,”
I had a chance to change the day again, I couldn't let my mother or Mr Anderson die, I had to come up with a solid plan to save both of them.
“ Hell Maya how are you feeling today,”
“ I have a very good idea, why don't I pick Max at the airport and since Mama has to go to the market anyway it's like killing two birds with one stone,”
“ I would love that, I'm so nervous I can't face him yet,” All I needed to do was to make sure none of them left the house.
“ Mama I'll go to the market for you, I'm going to pick up Max anyway,”
“ I don't need to go to the market,”
“ Mrs June, this is my fault I forgot to buy something from the market, I'm sorry,”
“ Maya how did you know,”
“ Your daughter is a genius, don't worry Pat I'll get them, give me the list,”
“ But I can go, it's no big deal,”
“ No, you must stay here, you know how people get lazy when you're not around, especially Pat but most importantly Mr Anderson seems nervous he needs to be assured everything will end up well,”
“ Ok, be safe and don't go disturbing the driver,”
“ Stay safe too and don't leave the house, you know for Mr Anderson sake,”
Everything was going well and I got to experience a new scene, picking Max at the airport. It was going to be hard to pretend that I hadn't spend the last year being in love with him, we had a bright future ahead of us before he…we all know that part.
“ Mr Max, I'm Maya I'm here to pick you up,”
“ Hello Maya, what a beautiful name,” why was he doing this to me? I had to prevent him from falling for me, but I missed him so bad. But just when I thought all was finally going well…
“ Young master, Maya I have bad news, the mansion caught on fire, no one survived,”
This wasn't happening, going to the hospital, a new scene was formed, there were more deaths than originally was.
“ Did you hear because of a drunk driver almost a hundred people died,” this was again my fault, the driver didn't hit my mum so he caused a bigger accident.
“ Why? Why wasn't I given the chance to meet him just once,” seeing Max experience this all Over again this time with my mother and everyone I grew up seeing, all dead, what was I doing?
“ You can't save everyone, that's the law of nature,”
“ You knew this would happen didn't you? Why didn't you warn me?”
“ I told you, you change anything, it doesn't affect just you but everyone around you, destinies will change too,”
“ What do I do, I can't loose everything,”
“In the book of death, someone you know has to die, you can't change that, you have to choose,”
“ Choose who dies between my mother and Mr Anderson?”
“I may not help you, but I can give you something to work with, one has to be sacrificed, one has to be saved and one has to be protected,”
“ What does that mean?”
“ That's all I can tell you, this is your last chance, anything that happens will happen and the day will be over, you can't have that back, remember, someone has to die, a sacrifice has to be made,”
“ Maya finish…”
“ I know I'm going to finish the dishes,”
“ You look like your being tortured, it's just dishes, it's not the farm,”
“ I can't avoid you saying that, can I?”
“ Girl what are you talking about, get to work,”
I didn't have much time, this was my last chance, I had to make everything right.
“ Maya how are…”
“ I'm fine sir, you are nervous to meet your son right?”
“ Is it that obvious,”
“ How about mama and I go with you, she needs to place an order for the market and I know it would be better to have many of us there right?”
“ Good idea, tell your mother we'll live in ten minutes,”
I really had no Idea what I was doing, I knew I couldn't save everyone but I still had to try, I needed to know what she ment by, one had to be sacrificed, one had to be saved and one had to be protected.
“ How did you know about the market,”
“ I just know things mum, we can't let Mr Anderson wait for long let's go,”
I knew if we left together we would definitely be ambushed, I had to protect Mr Anderson and save my mother, even if it ment sacrificing myself.
“ Mum I already locked your door, driver let's go,”
Nearing the place of ambush, something didn't add up, the driver was very suspicious, this wasn't right, but there was no time to think, I had to stick to the plan.
“ Mama open the door,”
“ What are you talking about, the car is still moving,”
“ Mama!”
I couldn't let this history repeat itself, I decided to push them out, the worst that could happen was some injuries.
“ What did you do?”
“ Driver stop this car,”
The car was now out of control and I jumped off, the car hit another car and both drivers died.
“ Mr Anderson and your mother are okay, they just sustained minor injuries,”
“ Hey you are Maya right?”
“ You must be Max, nice to meet you though not a very good place for first meeting,”
“ It would have been a very different story if not for you, saddened about the driver though,”
That's right, I still had to sacrifice someone else father, brother,son and husband for my own. Was this how I would fix this past?
“ You did well, I knew you could,”
“ Well? Someone died,”
“ And for a good reason, he was a mole, didn't you ever wonder how he wasn't hurt from the ambush? Moreover he stopped the drunk driver, the world is stable now, you sacrifice one, save one and protect one, always remember that”
“ You knew all this, why didn't you tell me?”
“ I'm only here to guide you, I can't help you more than I just did, you can call me Sage, we still have three hundred more days to go”
“ I'm I going to keep doing this all the time, changing other people's destinies, it's scary”
“ You have me, I'll help you, you have to make it, you just have to”
