Day two:New Scene

" Do you know something about changing something's in the past? It unlocked new scenes, like today, you have never really experienced today,"
" You are right originally we were preparing for Mr Anderson's funeral, but he's alive,"
" Exactly, go be with your family,"
Sage was right, I might have felt bad for sacrificing someone else life, bad or not he still was someone special to someone, but I was happy to see Mama, Mr Anderson and Max happy.
" Remember why you are here, you have to save Max's life, even if it means you two don't end up together,"
I knew it too well, the feeling of sacrifice, looking at the man of my dreams happy on a day he was devastated, what more would I want.
" Everyone, yesterday was not a very perfect day to introduce my only son, but if not for Maya, I wouldn't be here to make this announcement, so one behave of everyone concerned, the party must go on, let's make merry and celebrate, my son is back,"
I remember this scene very much, Max stood there and introduced himself with so much pain, he had just lost his father without a chance of seeing him once.

" Mama, Mr Anderson is gone, what will happen to everyone,"
" Baby we just have to stay strong, at least for Max, he just came back and he's already lost his father, it's harder for him,"
" Everyone, I'm Max and I wish I could say more about my father but to be honest, I don't know anything about him, I went away when I was young, he said he was trying to protect me,I...I.."
I remember seeing him struggle, he was left all alone, he had all this money and power, a big house but no place to call home.
" Hey there, you still got Mama, Papa and me and ofcause all of the people in the mansion, it may not be enough to fill that hole but can we at least cover it, it's worse left open,"
" You're Maya right, my father used to talk to me about a naughty little girl over the phone all the time,"
" I'm not naughty, I'm just free spirited,"
" That sounds like naughty to me, how was he? My father, how was he like, I only talked to him through the phone,"
" Your father was amazing, both as a boss and a friend, I remember when I got into highschool, he personal took me to my first day because Mama was sick, most people would have let the driver take me, but not him,"
" You seem very close to him, isn't life unfair for not giving me the chance to know him, even for a day, just a day,"
I couldn't do anything, I couldn't bring his father back and nothing I would say would make him feel any different, but that was when we became close.
“ Anyway miss Maya looks like I'll be in your care, I'm going to need that lead to cover the whole, If the offer still available,”
“ Always, come to me anytime, except mornings, I'm not a morning person,”
That was our first chance to love, it came in naturally, it was such a beautiful feeling.

“ I mean everyone else would do the same if they were in my shoes, it's no big deal,”
“ My father talked about a naughty girl name Maya all the time, didn't realize she was brave to,”

“ Sounds like naughty to me, anyway I'll be in your care Miss Maya,”
Destiny seemed to change everything, but it didn't change the way Max looked at me, those eyes then and now, still made me feel like I had to protect him, he was too good for this world.
“ Everyone on the ground now,” suddenly there was an attack, why was there an attack?
“ Well, if it isn't Mr Anderson, you survived the attack but still stayed on earth, you not scared of death,”
“ Who are you?”
“ Who I am is not what you should be worried about, why I'm here? Now that should be your worry. Look at all of you, enjoying the party, with your drinky drinks and classic music, it almost breaks my heart that I have to shoot all of you,”
“ What do you want,”
“ I want death, I want to kill you in the most violent way the devil won't even recognize you,”
I wasn't prepared for this, suddenly Max tried to grab the gun from the gangsta and a war broke out, there was suddenly shooting everywhere, people dropped dead one by one, my mother?
“ Mama! Please no, you are not doing this to me again,”
“ Find your Papa and get out of here,”
“ Mama I'm not living you, stop open your eyes, focus on me, mama no, stop closing your eyes,” I went through so much to save her only to loose her the following day, I wasn't going to let that happen.
Suddenly I saw Max lying lifeless on the ground, blood oozing out like water from the tap,that scene I had tried so much to prevent was here.
“ Maya you have to get back to your senses, now or you will loose everything,”
“ I've already lost it all, what more can I loose,”
“Maya listen to me, if you accept this day, you will loose everything, remember you still can change this, go back to this morning,”
“ I don't want to,I want to end it all here, we all die together, suddenly one year is a long time, why not just finish the story early,”
“ I'm not going to watch you give up, you have to make it through this year, for Chance,”
“ Who's that?”
“ You will find out when you survive this year, do it for her, your mother, father and Max,”
Looking around seeing the people I love drop like flies, realization hit, I changed their fate, it was my duty to protect them now.
“ Can you take me back just some hours before the attack,”
“ Yes, just close your eyes and focus on the time you want to go back,”
“ My father talked about a naughty girl called Maya, are you alright?” I was back.
“ Ooh yeah, I guess he was right, I can be a little naughty, so I'll be in your care Sir Max,”
“ Yeah me to,”
“ Maya, don't get distracted you don't got much time, remember what happens in a couple of hours,”
Sage was right, I had to come up with a plan, all this people in here, my family needed me.
“Hy Mr Anderson,”
“ Maya! Enjoying the party, I saw you and Max share a talk,”
“ Sir I need you to listen to me please, can you tighten security around the mansion?”
“ Why is that? Is everything alright?”
“Please sir, there is not enough time, call in all the security you can, make it so tight the president needs a pass to get in, trust me,”
“ What's going on dad,”
“ It's nothing Max, your father and I were just talking, you can talk to your guest,”
“ Sir please, trust me,”
“ I do, let me call Juda,”
“ No, Maya don't let him call Juda,”
“ Why, Juda is a nice person,”
“ Not everyone with a pretty face and a nice smile is an angel, humans are known to wear masks that cover their identities,”
“ Sir, can you call someone else, just to be safe,”
“ I'll trust you, you saved my life,”
I wasn't sure what to expect, I didn't know what I was doing either and I couldn't just alarm everyone here, what would I even say? I just hoped my way would work, the simpler the better.
“ Maya, how did you know we would be attacked?”
“ They came, where are they?”
“ They were captured, you amaize me,”
“ Would you believe me when I say it was just a hunch?”
“ No,”
“ I mean you just got attacked, ofcause they would try to attach again,”
“ You are right, thenks Maya,”
“ Maya, why is Mr Anderson thanking you?”
“ Mama, your daughter is a good person, you don't see that,”
“ Are you sure your a good person?”
“ Mama!”
I was messing with time, fate and destiny, the more I changed the past, the more scared I was getting.
“ You did it, I knew you would,”
“ Sage, why are you so determined to help me?”
“ Because it's my job, lesson of the day, new scenes can be very good, but they are very dangerous because unlike the original, you don't know what to expect, you broke down today?”
“ I just couldn't bare seeing Max in that state again, it felt like I was failing,”
“ But you aren't? Remember you got me, we'll make it,we have to,”
I had this feeling that Sage was hiding something from me? But so far she did help me maybe I would learn more about her as we went, we still had two hundred and ninety nine days to go.
