Chapter 13
After a rough night with virtually no sleep, I finally drifted off, only to be woken by my alarm at 0630.
I groaned when I heard it, but didn’t make a move to get up. I lay there for a few moments listening to the music and wishing I could stay in bed because I felt so tired. Why did I feel so tired?
The events of last night flooded my mind and tears stung my eyes. The argument. Malvolio hitting me. And kicking me... I still couldn’t believe he’d done it. What a despicable thing to do.
I didn’t need the alarm though. There was no way I was going to work. Yesterday was already a disaster and today... today was for recovering. And visiting the doctor.
