JONATHAN POV
Rosie showed up at my office early again, despite my countless requests for her not to. My father doesn't like her, and she keeps giving him more reasons to feel that way. He hates it when I'm disruptive in the company.
"What do you want here, dear?" I asked, trying to keep my tone calm. "You know you shouldn't come if it's nothing important. You could have just called me."
"But of course it’s important! I wouldn’t have been coming if it weren’t!" Rosie exclaimed as if I should already know. "Tomorrow is my sister's wedding, and unfortunately, we have to go. I have nothing to wear."
I did my best not to roll my eyes. It was hard to believe this was such a crisis for her. "You still have dresses with the tags on them," I reminded her, struggling to keep my patience.
