Chapter 4The Olinda Police headquarters is located downtown on a crag that looks out over the city. The road runs up along the back of the crag, loops around the building and heads back down the other side. The building itself is a tall double-spire with integrated wind turbines like so many of the Olinda buildings. The solar-power gathering windows glitter blue from the outside. When you're inside, they look transparent. The police generally come and go in flitters but since I wasn't springing for a flitter cab, we were stuck on the ground. As our cab circled up the crag towards the building, I could see the police flitters buzzing in and out of the building like so many bees.
