chapter 3- Going home

Bolton's pov

I set off early this morning from blood moon pack, I had been attending a meeting on behalf of my father Derick Miller who is the current Alpha of our pack Silverlake until he passes the title of Alpha over to me in two months, I did not want the Alpha title but it was either me or my little sister Jen and I don't want her running the pack into the ground.The pack has been in our family for generations of my father's bloodline he has always been a good Alpha like his father and his grandfather and so on they have all been well-respected Alphas and my father seems to be the best of them all (I'm just bias).As I pull up to the pack gates I am greeted by two of our pack warriors George and Ryan "Hey Bolton" "Hey how are you both? How has everything been at the pack since I've been gone?" "Yeah, everything has been quiet!' "erm, that's good George but a bit strange considering my sister lives here" "Yeah about your sister Bolton.." "What is it, Ryan?" I am dreading what I'm going to hear as my sister is nothing but trouble, "Well rumour has it she has been torturing that poor young rouge girl again" "rouge girl?" "Yeah pretty little thing, lives with her sister and brother deep in the woods somewhere they don't bother anyone" "Why would she be tormenting her?" "She has since they was in year 1" "What's her name?" "Ella, she has been bullying her much worse lately she has become violent with her" "Does Ella not fight back or say anything?" "No she never does I feel bad for her" "umm OK thankyou Ryan and George".As I smile and wave at them as I drive past them my wolf Dexter has been growing like crazy since the mention of the girl's name that Jen has been bullying "What's up dexter" "I don't know Bolton for some reason I feel overprotective of this young girl" " But we have never met her dexter" "I know but something is making me feel angry about her situation" "Its probably just the Alpha in us talking, don't worry about it dexter we will sort this ok" " Thankyou Bolton" he finally calms down and I can carry on driving as I had to stop because I could not concentrate with him growling and snarling in my head, I am nearing the packhouse and I'm wondering why does Jen dislike this girl so much.I pull up to the packhouse and I'm greeted by my parents "You are finally home Bolton I've missed you" "I've missed you as well mum" I kiss my mum on the cheek and then greet my dad by giving him a side hug "welcome back son, we have lots to catch up on" "OK dad shall we head to the office then", on my way to my father's office I see my best friend and future beta Damian "How are you doing damo?" "I'm good Bolt been keeping busy with training these bad boys" " Seriously damo you and your biceps, next you will be naming them" "Your only jealous because you have cotton balls" "Well unlike you I don't sweat I sparkle," I say as I poke him in the chest playfully and we head over to the office.My dad's office is huge he has a large Oak desk with a dark leather desk chair, then in the corner, he has a corner beige leather sofa in front of the corner window which looks out over the pack, in the middle there is a glass oak coffee table and a 42inch wall-mounted TV and a little mini bar, "OK Bolton shall we sit" Sure dad" "OK, so looms like amber stone pack wants to sign a treaty with us!" "Oh OK, why though? I thought we were rivals" " We was but they needed our help with rouge attacks, they were outnumbered so we offered a truce between our packs for our help and support" " I guess that makes sense but what if they attack a young pup at our pack like they did at their own?" " son we are the strongest and biggest pack we have the protection for our pups don't worry" "OK if you say so dad I will just have to trust you" " Thank you, son, for your support, now onto other matters how did the meeting go at the crescent moon?" "Yeah it went OK dad they are willing to sign a treaty in the protection from the rouges seems they are looking for something or someone but I just can't put my finger on it?" "Did you do much investigating while you were there" "I tried but there is not much to go on so I will have to go back and go round it like a fine-tooth comb for them to try and figure this out" "no worries son hopefully we can get down to the bottom of it and soon, but I have some big news for you" "What news is that dad?" at this point me and damo look at each other and then back at my dad confused "Well the elders contacted me telling me that a couple of seers have paid them a visit letting them know of the news we have all been waiting to hear, do you remember the story of Alpha King Lucas Silverstone and Alpha Queen Rose Silverstone from the kingdom rubycresent?" "Yeah a little bit but I was only a pup when you told me this story" "OK so 16 years ago king Lucas and Queen Rose was blessed with a beautiful baby girl called Princess Lilly she had the brightest ice blue eyes some even said they glow,anyway when Queen Rose was pregnant with Princess Lilly a witch told her that her daughter was cursed and would cause a lot of deaths if she was not stopped, Queen Rose did not believe the crazy witch so they banished her out of the kingdom and she continued with her pregnancy and soon gave birth to Princess Lilly, King Lucas and Queen Rose had a wonderful year with their beautiful daughter and when I say beautiful she is beautiful,but on the night of Princess Lilly's 1st birthday the kingdom was attacked king Lucas and Queen Rose had no choice but to flee with Princess Lilly,they headed for amberstone pack where Queen Rose's brother lived he was the beta of the pack,When they arrived he was very surprised to see them King Lucas explained the situation to him and asked him to take Princess Lilly on as his own,very reluctantly he agreed as he knew a child was all his sister Queen Rose ever wanted,King Lucas made him promise to change Princess Lilly's name he was confused why but he asked no questions and agreed,when all agreements where done King Lucas and Queen Rose left and headed back to their kingdom,rumor has it they told people Princess Lilly died in the attack so the enemy's who was after Princess Lilly would stop looking for her,but only close friends and family knew the truth" "OK so let me get this right she is cursed and living in a pack we are about to sign a treaty with" "No she is not there,no one knows where she is but she is not cursed a seer confirmed that to King Lucas and Queen Rose,but the seer also said that the witch only said it because she was scared,as she is meant to be the most strongest and powerful Alpha Queen of all time,she is the only wolf in the world to have their human counter part to have ice blue eyes" "OK so I have a question dad,how do you know all of this?" "I am best friends with King Lucas" "Oh wow OK, but why is this all exciting news?" "Well the seer has said she will gain her wolf in two weeks on her 18th birthday and she will be your mate" my mouth suddenly hung wide open and dexter started getting all excited and howling in my head but I have a feeling this is not going to be plain sailing and I know there is more to this "excuse me?" "She will be your mate, but she will also lead the biggest and strongest she-wolf pack which she must create herself once she gains her wolf everyone will feel her power and she-wolves young, old, unmated and rouges will feel a pull to her so they will go looking for her, but son tread carefully she may not accept you at first" "OK this is a lot to take in, if you don't mind I'm going to go surprise Jen and pick her up from school" my dad just nods and I leave his office with my head spinning.
