chapter 8- staying hidden

Rosaliea's pov

Getting Millie, Anna and Aiden to follow me upstairs while the others guard the doors, I'm not worried because they are looking for the scent of a rouge, Ella does not have the scent of a rouge. Heading into Ella's room I hear the gasps of Millie and Aiden, they are all more like siblings than best friends, you can see the pain and anger in their eyes "Jen did this to our cupcake?" Aiden asks with tears rolling down his face "yep and she will pay for what she has done, but right now we need to think what we are going to do" all of them deep in thought, it would be too risky to take the protection spells of her because it could endanger her life, I need time to remove the spells off of her, on closer inspection I do notice she is healing a lot faster which is unusual, putting my hands over Ella's body I'm shocked to see that she is almost completely fully healed what is going on I've never seen anything like this before. I need to think about how to reverse the spells because not only could I endanger Ella I would also be endangering myself because the spells are supposed to wear off the day before her birthday, so if I reverse the spells I would need time because it would drain my energy so needing a lot of breaks is a must, draining myself would mean not been able to help my family at all. we were all trying to decide what to do for the best, the air in the room was so tense we could hear the wolves outside, hoping they would not pick up her scent inside the house, thinking quickly I put a spell on Ella to hide her scent completely, quickly realising I need to do the full house as well, everyone looking at me confused I bolt out of the room to quickly cover the full house, everyone now looking at me with heads c**** to one side like a dog would do when they are confused, made me burst out laughing on the spot, these wolves are just adorable "Rosaliea...May I ask what you are doing please?" Bolton politely asks me "I've put a spell around the house to cover Ella's scent, it may or may not work, we don't know if they have a witch working with them" "yeah I don't know who my dad is friends with these days, thankyou Rosaliea, hopefully, the spell will keep them away and keep Ella safe for a while longer just till she shifts" "let's hope so as she will feel more relaxed here at home" "I agree with you" leaving Bolton and Axel at the front door I head towards the kitchen where Jerry and Catherine were guarding the back porch area. They were both also wondering what I was doing, at some point the look on Jerry's face turned from confusion to understanding "a scent hiding spell?" "Yes, just hope it keeps them away long enough till she shifts into her wolf" "all we can do is hope, Ella is a good fighter but she can not fight wolves in human form without the strength of her wolf to help her, and we also have the matter of she is still asleep" "Yes she is still asleep but...she also seems to be healing faster then I expected....normally she takes at least 3 to 4 days with her wolf healing but it is taking her hours to heal now" "yeah that normally happens when a young wolf who does not have their wolves yet it normally takes 3 to 4 days to fully heal, but about a month before they are due to become of age they start healing a lot fast anywhere from 30 mins to 7 hours they can be fully healed" "really? I honestly never knew that and I've been studying werewolves for a long time, it's good to know that thankyou Jerry" "you are more than welcome, now head back upstairs and keep an eye on the kids you know what they are like" "Yes I do" chuckling as I walk away through the kitchen and living room and back up the stairs, as I get to Ella's room slowly and quietly taking a peek through the gap in the door, noticing that Millie and Aiden were both lying next to Ella. All of them are so adorable with each they will all be friends for life and will always have each other's backs which makes me so happy.

Anna's pov

Sat waiting for Rosaliea to come back up from hiding Ella's scent, silent watching Ella just thinking and praying to the moon goddess they don't find her until she has fully healed which for some reason she seems to be healing faster than normal. Shaking the thoughts from my head, looking towards Millie and Aiden as they are laid with Ella, they all should have been siblings with how close they all are, I mean yeah sure I and Axel always try my best to protect her but she can protect herself, it's a shame them bullying little s**** would not let her defend herself. I can't wait for the moment she has her first shift then she will show them as they will be no holding her wolf back.

Suddenly I feel myself being shaken, slowly I'm opening my eyes, oh moon goddess I must have fallen asleep I quickly check the time and see it's gone 10 am oh hell, looking up I see Millie guessing she was the one who woke me up, glancing to my left I see Aiden still asleep next to Ella, he has always been a lazy one. I give a little smile to Millie "hey girl is everything OK?" "yeah, I was just waking you as it's your turn to keep your ears open" "my ears?" looking at her puzzled, until I realise she is on about my wolf, bursting out laughing Millie looks more confused than ever "I'm sorry, but what is funny Anna" "I'm sorry Millie it's just the way you said your ears open" "Oh but is that not what a wolf is about" "no Millie see we don't physically open our ears, our wolves always have their ears up but the sensitive hearing comes naturally to our wolves you will see when you get your wolf" "Oh OK, I sound like a right i***t" "no you don't your still young and you will get your wolf soon when you do you will realise how territorial they can be again another person or wolf you care about" " I'm already like that towards a good few people" "I know but don't worry, have you slept?" "no" "have you been keeping watch" " yeah we have all taken turns" "you and Aiden should not have been keeping guard as you guys have no wolf" " I know but we wanted to do our bit" smiling towards us Millie with understanding. standing up I look towards Rosaliea who looks to be asleep on the love seat, finding a blanket I cover her over with it so she does not get cold. Quickly glancing out of the window, not seeing or hearing anything I go and check on the others downstairs, being careful not to disturb anyone, making my way to the top of the stairs I can hear Axel and Bolton "so what are you going to do when my sister rejects you Alpha" he elongated the 'a' at the end of Alpha, rolling my eyes wondering when these 2 idiots were going to grow up "Why would she reject me, Axel, she does not even know who I am, plus she ain't even awake to reject me" " she is not awake yet, but when she does your a*** will be getting kicked to the curb" "Say what you want dude until she rejects me I'm not going anywhere, and I will do my to protect her" honestly these 2, walking down the stairs slowly they both eventually notice me after their little perfect b****** match."Anna your awake" "Yes I am Axel and you 2 been like this with each other is not helping the tension in the house" " sorry sis" "sorry Anna" the look on their faces was priceless, both looking like children who had just been caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

heading over to where Jerry and Catherine were to catch up with the matter at hand, "anything?" "no I'm afraid not, Anna! not even anything from the Alpha, the wolves that were round here have just vanished really, which is strange, unless it's from Rosaliea's spell" "yeah maybe but I do think the best thing is to wake her" "is not still healing" "no for some reason she is fully healed now, I'm going to have a word with Rosaliea and she what she thinks" heading to the kitchen to make everyone a drink and some food I smell Rosaliea enter the kitchen " how did you sleep, Rosaliea?" "How did you....never mind, I did not sleep too bad" "you looked cold so I covered you up" "thank you" she smiles at me while her cheeks turn tomato red, she gets so embarrassed very easily, continuing about the kitchen I realise I've not been shopping, guess I need to go shopping I hate shopping its usually Ella who does this kind of stuff.

turning towards Rosaliea she looks at me puzzled "what wrong Anna" "I need to go shopping as their is not enough food for everyone here" "OK I'll come with you" " that sounds good but before we go there is something I need to speak to you about first" "OK sure go ahead" "I think we need to wake Ella up" "Oh OK,I thought we was keeping her asleep till the day before her 18th" " we was but I don't think it's fair on her to do that,we are just been selfish towards her,yes we need to protect her for who she is but soon as she turns 18 all she wolves who are unmated or lost their mates,young or old will turn up to her where ever she is,and as soon as she shifts everyone will feel her power whether it's male or female wolves,that we can not hide her from as its her destiny" "you are right Anna" " I will go and prepare in waking her up,when do you need to go shopping" " now if possible please,we can sort Ella as soon as we are back as it will not take long" "OK no worries,come on then we will take my car" letting everyone downstairs know where we are going we head out to Rosaliea's car,which is a very nice car,it's a white 4x4 range rover sport and I must say I'm surprised to see Rosaliea driving one of these as she seems to sports car kind of person." nice car" "thanks it was a gift of my mum and dad when they upgraded their own car" climbing into the car,the interior was cream leather and very roomy and comfy.

we are 30 minutes into driving, Rosaliea is singing away to the music smiling while shaking my head, sometimes I wish we did not live so far away from the nearest food shop but been werewolves we have to stay hidden from humans, if they found out about us they would kill us or at least try anyway, we arrive at the shop an hour later, upon entering the shop I get the smell of a few werewolves here but I do not recognise which pack they are from, but I hardly ever do these days with been away from a pack for so long you lose the sense of smell you once had, yes we never broke ties with our old pack but still the sense of smell has changed. heading down fridge isle I can hear people talking in hushed voices " the Alpha has still not found that rouge girl" "What's he going to do" "Well his son seems very protective of this rouge girl but still, the Alpha wants her dead or alive he doesn't care, apparently, she attacked Jen" "yeah right I don't believe that for a second Jen is nothing but a bully" " I agree I just hope they don't find that poor rouge girl" "let's hope so if I knew who she was I would gladly help hide her" sat listening to their conversation, Rosaliea taps me on my shoulder squealing as I turn around, heart pounding in my chest " Rosaliea" I say in a hushed voice, she looks at me bursts out laughing, I do not see the funny side right now though "what is funny" I scold with my arms folded and my eyes narrowed, "you, you're cute when you get a fright" "I'm not" "you are, anyway what were you doing just stood there in your own little world" "I was...erm...just listening to something" "Anna!" "I was listening to some women say how they wish they could help the rouge girl that the Alpha was after...do you think they could help us" "I don't know Anna I swore to Rose and Lucas I would protect their baby girl" "I know but we need help to get her away" " no we can do it ourselves" "OK...ok" we finish off our shopping and head back to the car, but I really can't help get the feeling of been followed when I look around I don't see anyone. getting into the car, I just can not shake this uneasy feeling off hopefully it goes away by the time we get home.

unknowns pov

I swear that's the rouges sister, I need to follow her as I'm sure she will lead me to her. once I can get to her she will be safe with me not them as they will just lead thar stupid Alpha to her and his big-headed son who thinks he is her mate. yeah, right he is getting nowhere near her I will make sure of that once and for all no one will ever find her until it is time.

hey everyone hope you all had a good Christmas, sorry it's taken so long but this chapter was a nightmare for me I've rewritten it so many times I still don't feel happy with it but I will wait until the book is finished before I start editing chapters. with it being my first book I will apologise if there is any gamma mistakes etc I will correct any at some point, thank you so much for your patience and sorry it's taking me so long, with my little boy being off school for the holidays he has been very demanding and he is the mini-boss he says haha! keep safe and well love to you all ❤
