Noah William's pov
I wake up by someone calling my name. " Noah," my mom says once again and I open my eyes. She has a phone in her hand and holds it out to me. "It's miss Kate," she says and wiggles with her eyebrows.
I look confused at her, it's still early and I've never been good at using my brain early in the morning. "Hello?" I say and hold the phone against my ear. "Hi Noah," I hear miss Kate, "can you please be at the studio in 2 hours, we've some pretty big news." "Of course," is all I can think of to say and after that we say goodbye.
"So?" my mom asks after the very short phone call, "what was it about??" "Don't know, " I say and shrug, "I've to be at the office in two hours so they can announce some big news or so."
"2 hours?" she repeats me, "it has to be some pretty big news!" "Why do you think so?" I ask kind of confused. "It's 7 am," my mom says, "why would she want you to come to the studio at 9 in the morning on a Sunday?" "Good point," I say and fall back on my pillow, "give me a few more minutes." My mother laughs slightly and leaves my room.
I try to fall asleep, but I keep thinking about what it can be and I end up not falling asleep again.
I take a quick shower and put on some clothes before I go downstairs for breakfast. Except for my mom and Marylou everyone is still asleep. "Good morning," I say and ruffle Marylou's hair. "Good morning," she says with her cheerful voice. I grab quick something to eat and leave to the next step
I arrive just in time and as I to the door in I meet Michelle and Giselle. "Hi," I say, "good morning." "Hi," they say cheerful.
Inside the office it all starts to make sense. Eldon, West, James, Henry, Riley, Michelle, Giselle and I.
It's about the tour, of course, why didn't I realize that earlier.
"So," miss Kate says excited, “we have some big news, the tour will be going for a part 2!" Everyone starts to clap and cheer excited. "Where will we be going?" Giselle asks. "We'll go to Australia, New Zealand, then take a short break," she counts the countries on her hands, "and then go back to Europe for some shows in Spain, Portugal, England, Ireland and Italy."
Again people cheer cheerful. "That is actually so cool!" James says. "I thought so too," miss Kate says, "so we actually want to shoot some promo shots today and would like to hear if you can start rehears again soon."
"When will the tour be?" I ask. "We'll go to Australia and New Zealand in September and then Europe in October and begin November," she says. "So soon?!" Michelle says. "Yes," miss Kate says, "sorry I didn't tell earlier, we still had to figure out some things."
As I'm waiting after I'm done with the promo shots I look through social media. I've a lot of private messages again from the people I sent something to.
All messages are full with emoji's and people telling how much it means to them. It makes me smile to know that I made some people smile. There's one message really sticking out, it's the only without an emoji, so I decide to tap on it.
I snigger as I see from who it is, Richelle, since yesterday it's the third time that name pops up. She sent me another quote.
'All I want is to flip a switch before something breaks that cannot be fixed,' it says. No emoji, no thank you or something, no expression of feelings nothing. Just a quote.
I'm curious what it means. It's one of those quotes what can mean something else to everyone. I love it.
"What're you smiling at?" Riley asks and she sits down beside me. "Oh nothing," I say, "just this quote." "Let me see," Riley says, she grabs my phone at reads out loud, "All I want is to flip a switch before something breaks that cannot be fixed."
She quiet of a second. "Okay," she says then, "you're allowed to smile, that quote is so random but meaningful." She continues scrolling through the chat. "Dude," she says, "all those quotes are amazing!" "I know," I say, and grab my phone back.
"What is amazing?" Eldon asks and sits down on the other side of me. Riley repeats the quote. "You know I've to think a second about that," Eldon says and I laugh. "Why do I not get quotes?!" Riley complains.
"You know what the weirdest part is," I say to Eldon completely ignoring Riley and furrow my eyebrows.
"Tell me," Eldon mocks sarcastically talking very dramatic. "It's from Richelle," I say. Eldon looks confused.
"The doll?" he asks.
"No i***t," I say, "the one who's name you saw yesterday." "How do you know?" he asks, "you know there are just an handful of Richelles in this world, and they didn't all comment on my photo."
"Wait," Riley says, "doll? What's this about." I explain her about Marylou's doll and that I had to find the perfect name, and that Eldon came with Richelle.
"Aha," Riley says and she nods understanding, "that's pretty cool." "Yea," I say and look at the chat.
"Okay," miss Kate interrupts our conversation, "everything is done, you guys can go."
We say goodbye and leave.
"Wait wait," James says before everyone goes their own way. "Tomorrow morning 10 am at the studio," he says. "Yes sir," I say and the others agree too. Then I get into my car and drive back home.
I'm glad we're going on tour again, also because it gives me a little longer to think about what I want to do in my life. Maybe I should flip a switch. I should stop thinking about what I want to do and just start doing things, seeing the world, experience things. Figure out what I like, and what I don't like.
For some reason that quote is sticking with me ever since I read it. Deep in thoughts I arrive back home and park my car, coming back on earth again. "Hello," my dad says when I walk into the living room.
"Hi," I say. "So what was the big news?" he asks. "We're going on tour again," I say excited, "in September and October." "So soon?!" my dad says surprised. "Yea," I say.
I sit on the couch and put out my phone. This quote just doesn't let me go, that whole girl doesn't let me know and I have literally no idea why.
Without knowing why I go to her i********: profile. I scroll through the few photo's. She's tiny, but her face looks mature for her age . 'Happy 17th birthday!' I read then under one of the pictures.
Wait, she's 17? Well that explains a lot. I'm kind of surprised I even have fans who're 17, that's probably why I assumed she was around 12.
I go to the private message and decide to send a quote back. There's just something mysterious about this girl.
Well, basically that shouldn't be such a surprise, I've no idea who she is. I only know her name, that she follows me, and her good taste for quotes.
'There's nothing in this world we can't fix with some scissors and glue,' I quote back. If she thinks she's the only one who knows great quotes she's wrong.
