"Look what I found!" James exclaims walking into the back lounge. In his hand he holds a movie and he looks really excited. "What's it?" West asks. "A horror movie," James has and smiles widely. "Nice!" Eldon says jumping up and grabbing the movie out of James 's hand.
I hear the girls and I'm pretty sure this is one of those moments on which they roll their eyes. "No way," Riley says, "we're not going to watch a horror movie." "What?" James says, "why not?"
"Because we're with 8 and we don't want to watch a horror movie," Michelle says. "Hmmm," I say, "let's vote. Who wants to watch a horror movie?" I put my hand in the air and the other guys do the same. "Ahh," Isaiah says, "it's 5 against 3."
The girls sigh again while the guys and I laugh. "Sorry!" Eldon calls them behind when they stand up and walk away. "Yea I'm sure you aren't sorry," Michelle says turning around.
"I'm going to get some food," West says jumping up, "don't start without me." Soon he's back and we start the movie.
It's a great movie, pretty scary, but great. Because we didn't start the movie before 11 pm, it's almost 1 am when it's over. We all sit in silence for a while. I'm too scared to say something or to move, and I think the rest is too.
"Guys," Isaiah says, "I don't think I'll be able to sleep. "Nope," West says, "me neither." "I'm terrified," I say.
The conversation ends and still nobody moves.
Suddenly we hear a high shriek and we all start to scream. "I don't want to yet!" Eldon scream hidden his head in a pillow.
The girls walk into the back lounge and when I look at them I see that they're laughing.
"You should've seen your face!" Riley laughs. "It was hilarious," Giselle says wiping a tear away. "You are cruel," James says, "playing with our feelings."
"Well nothing would've happened if you didn't watch that stupid horror movie," Michelle says. "Yea," Giselle says, "you scream like girls, it was impossible for us to sleep."
"Well," I say standing up, "I'm going to my bunk."
"You sure?" Giselle says, "I'm sure a saw a mouse walking over the edge of your bunk." I freeze. If there's something I'm afraid of, it's mouses. I literally shiver only thinking of them.
"Dude," West says, "they're just messing with you." "Of course," Riley says, "but he's still scared."
"I'm not scared," I say trying to sound confident, "but anyways, we've 4 spare bunks right? I'm claiming one of them. I don't wait for a reaction I just run away. I can hear them laugh though but I don't care.
I learned my lesson, I'm never going to watch a horror movie again.
