Chapter 4

1003 Words
Friday 19th of August, 2016 Toronto, Canada Noah William's pov The summer is slowly coming to an end. It has already been 2 months since the longest day of the year and even though it's around 8 pm right now, the sun is starting to set. The sun already disappeared behind the house a while ago, so a lot of people already would call it 'too cold' to be outside in just a shirt. To be honest I like the weather much better now it's slowly getting a little colder. The hot summer sun is too much for me, I can't wait for the autumn. The world will look beautiful again with all the trees full of yellow and red leaves. It will smell amazing after one of those autumn rain showers. Today was a beautiful days, the sky was a beautiful color blue without any clouds interrupting. The sky is still a beautiful color, but here and there there's a cloud. I just laying on my back in the garden listening to music, just the usual, when my favorite song gets interrupted by my ringtone. "Hello," I say a little annoyed by whoever did this. "Hé Noah," Eldon says. "So you're the one interrupting my music," I say. "Sorry dude," he says, "but this is important." "Okay," I say, "what's up?" "Project TSNWRT2 launched," he says. What? I always knew Eldon was weird, but this weird... Eldon is one of my best friends and has always been like a brother to me since he's a few years older. He's an amazing dancer and I grew up always wanted to be like him. When I got older and I got to dance with him on A-troupe became really good friends. "Seriously dude," I say, "don't use any code language." "I was at the studio today and I heard miss Kate take about the tour begin this year," Eldon explains, "chance that we'll go for a part too hugely increased." "Really?!" I say and get up in a reflex, "that's insane!" "I know," Eldon said, "so basically they're still figuring out places and dates and stuff, but I'm sure they will succeed." "That's so sick," I say, I'm slowly starting to realize what that means. Another probably at least month spending with my best friends, seeing the world, meeting fans, dancing, performing, it will be amazing! "One last thing," Eldon says, "make sure you don't plan anything big in the next few months, who knows how long we'll be away." "Of course," I say, "it's not like I have something to do..." Eldon laughs loudly. "Good luck man," he says. "Thanks," I say, "I can use it." We say goodbye and hang up. I lay back down and think about last tour. If I could, I would just tour the rest of my life, but I think people will get tired of me pretty fast. I must have fallen asleep because when I open my eyes again it's almost completely dark outside. It still isn't exactly cold, so I don't move and just start thinking about the tour. I'm lost in my thoughts thinking about tour laying with a smile on my face when I all of the sudden raindrops feel. I open my eyes. "Seriously?!" I say out loud and sigh. Stubborn I am, I just ignore it and feel the raindrops get bigger and bigger until the point where it feels like someone is just throwing buckets of water over me. Annoyed I realize that I probably should go inside. Completely sodden I walk back through the door into the kitchen where Matthew is making himself something to eat. He burst into laughing when he sees me. "What happened to you?!" he asks still laughing. "To be honest," I say, "I was just too stubborn to admit that it was raining and I should go inside." Matthew continues laughing and throws a hand towel at me. "Thanks," I say and dry my face. "What's going on here?" my mom asks as she walks into the kitchen. "Nature decided to give Noah a shower," Matthew says still laughing. Seriously, is it that funny? My mom starts laughing too. So apparently it is that funny. I ignore it and make my way back to my room where I dry myself and throw my pajama on. Turning on my phone I see the hundreds of w******p messages and that it has been 10 pm, I slept pretty long outside. Never have been so popular like I was tonight when I was asleep... Eldon clearly called everyone to tell it and they had a whole conversation about it. Also in the group of our dance class some people were talking about something an hour or so ago. Okay it are both group apps, maybe I'm not that popular. But I've also some messages from Max and some random girl from B - Troupe. Her name is Jacquie and she has a thing for me. Ever since puberty hit me she had and it can be pretty annoying sometimes. Max is a great friend, but he also really likes teasing people, mainly me. I've done some duets with Jacquie in the past years, thanks to Max. Yes we won. Jacquie is in the end a pretty good dancer, but I just don't like her like she likes me and she doesn't exactly realizes that. Believe me I've told her multiple times, but every time she just ignored me and changed the subject. 'Hi Noah,' Jacquie sent this time, 'Do you wanna hang out after rehearsal tomorrow?' Well no, definitely not. I just told her last week that it's my sisters birthday tomorrow. This really shows that she doesn't really pay attention to what I say, she just stares at my lips the whole time we talk. So annoying. 'Have my sister's birthday,' I send back and plug my charger in. Marylou has a habit of waking me up early on her birthday, I better sleep in early.
