Sydney, Australia
Noah Williams
"Who has a question?" Giselle says into her mic while she walks through the audience. The rest of us are standing on stage in a line. Today we're back in Sydney to give another show. It's the Q&A part of the show in which some kids get the chance to ask us a question. It's always fun to hear what they want to know.
"Hi how are you," Giselle asks somewhere in the back of the audience. "Good," I hear a shy voice. "What's your name?" Giselle asks. "Katie," the girls says. What a coincident, Richelle s best friend's name is also Katie. How will Richelle be doing? I haven't talked to her in what feels like years even though it has actually just been a few days. I sent her a message today, and yesterday, and every other day, but she didn't react.
I hope I didn't say something wrong, normally she reacts within a day. I hope I didn't actually hurt her feelings when I jokingly said that the picture looked awful. Maybe she was just busy with school, she has vacation now so I think I just have to stop worrying. She'll probably send something today or tomorrow.
I honestly can't wait until the 28th. I already know that it's going to be an awesome day. We'll finally meet. I'll finally meet the girl who ones was a big mystery, but turned into my best friend. Don't tell Max she took his place of being my best friend.
Suddenly I see James wave in front of my face. "Hellooo," he says loud, "little distracted?" "Sorry what?" I say realizing that I totally zoned out. "If there's anyone who wants to know who's the quickest distracted," Michelle says into her mic, "it's Noah." The whole audience laughs and I laugh sheepishly too. "What was the question?" I ask James
when he hands me the mic. "What country you want to visit," James says and laughs.
"Oh New Zealand," I say into the mic, "for sure, great question Katie. See I wasn't that distracted." "Yea almost Noah," Michelle says into her mic, "we've already moved on to the next question." "Wait, what, really?!" I say and I feel my head turn red. Did I really zone out for that long. "And Noah is also very credulous," I hear Giselle say and the theater fills with laughter again. "Very funny," I say into my mic and pass it on to West, the last in line. "I just want to visit as many countries as possible," he says when it's a little quieter again.
"Okay," Giselle says, "next question." The cast really has it on me today...
"Hi how are you," Giselle asks a few seconds later, "and what's your name." "Isabella," A girl says. "And how old are you?" Giselle asks. "10," she says. "And what's your question and who's it for?" Giselle asks. "How comes Noah so distracted?" Isabella asks.
I burst into laughing with the rest of the cast and the audience. "That's a really good question," West says. "We have literally no idea," Michelle says, "why don't you tell Noah." West hands me his mic. "Sometimes you have those days on which you're just very distracted," I say casually. " Noah you're one big Mystery," Giselle jokes. "Like I'm the only one with secrets," I say rolling jokingly my eyes, "I bet some are just using this to hide their own secrets. Right James." I lay my hand on his shoulder and the I hear the whole audience scream.
"Thanks bro," James says. "You're more than welcome," I say laughing.
Not that I think James actually is hiding something, I just know that the whole audience will be thinking about Trittany right now and I just wanted to annoy him a little bit. I'm sure he'll get over it.
"My question is for James," I hear a girl say. I totally missed that Giselle already went on to the next question. "What's your biggest secret?" she asks. I laugh. James will never bother me again. "Okay don't tell anyone," James says, "I'm pretty embarrassed about this." It becomes completely silent and I'm also pretty curious about what he's going to say. "I secretly," James whispers into his mic, "I secretly really love Beauty and the Beast."
Everyone laughs again. "No seriously," James says pretending to be hurt, "don't laugh at me please." "I feel you man," I say grabbing West’smic out of his hands, "my little sister makes me watch Sleeping Beauty at least twice a week, and I actually enjoy it."
"Okay one last question," Giselle says wiping tears away from laughing. By now the Q&A is actually already way too long, but this is just getting better and better.
"My question is for everyone, who're your favorite Disney Princess?" A girl says. The whole cast and I laugh again, those are literally the most random questions we've ever had.
"Well mine is obviously Belle from Belle and the Beast," James says and passes his mic to Riley. "Mine is for sure Rapunzel from Tangled," Michelle says. "Oh good one," Riley says, "I've to say Snow White, I've always loved her and the movie." "I think my favorite is Jasmine," Eldon says, "from Aladdin, but to be honest I don't know many Disney Princesses. Isn't your favorite Aurora?" He winks at me and I sigh. I should’ve never told him that I don’t mind watching sleeping beauty with my little sister."My favorite is Aurora yea," I say, "of course from Sleeping Beauty."
"I like all the Disney Princesses," West says. "Yea right West," Giselle says, "you just say that because you don't know any other Disney Princesses." "That's not true," West says defensive. "Really?" I say and we all look at West. "Okay it's true," West says, "but I still like them all."
"Next time you're not getting away with this," Giselle says, "anyways, mine is of course Ariel." She starts walking back to the stage. "Don't you think I kind of look like her?" she asks. The audience cheers in agreement. Soon Giselle comes back to the stage and we go back backstage to make ourselves ready for the rest of the show.
"That was a fun Q&A," Riley says after the show. "Oh it was great," James says, "by the way Noah, thank you again." "You're welcome," I say and laugh slightly, "I'm sure you'll get over it."
