The chatter of dozens of voices reached my ears the moment I appeared in the Hall and took my place. No one acknowledged my arrival, which wasn"t surprising. I doubted any of them truly cared I was here. I was nothing more than part of the furniture that made up the room, much like Osiris" throne, or the huge scales of judgement that dominated the centre of the floor. Somehow, I"d managed to forget how big they were in the years since I"d spent any time in this room. It was almost like discovering it all over again.
