I didn"t often get the urge to leave my lair and go to the surface, but when I did, I knew better than to ignore it. If I didn"t go, I"d come to regret it and end up feeling caged in, which almost always ended up in me shifting and destroying some of my property. It wasn"t the destruction itself that I had a problem with, but I was the one who had to clean it up, and that was almost never fun. It felt alien to step into the tunnel that led to the surface.
