The man raised his eyes and found Violet staring at him with those bright blue eyes.
She was devastating up close. Slender, fair-skinned, the red dress poured over her body like liquid sin, clinging to the soft swell of her breasts and the narrow dip of her waist before flaring over her hips. Her hair was neat, but a few strands had already slipped free to brush the side of her throat. He had noticed her earlier across the bar. This close, the sight of her made something low and hungry tighten in his gut.
“Please,” she said again, voice soft, lower lip pushed out just enough to make him want to bite it. Her fingers toyed with her nails, restless.
“Okay.” The word scraped out of him.
He stood and she followed him out of the bar, down the short hallway, up the stairs.
The hotel lobby was quiet, almost hushed. Within a minute they stood at the front doors.
“You can find your room from here, right?”
“No… not really.” She blinked up at him, all wide-eyed innocence. The lie came easy. She already had the key card. She just wasn’t finished with him yet.
“Which room?”
“308. Please.”
A faint, knowing smile touched his mouth. He didn’t call her on it. He simply turned and led the way.
Violet stayed close behind him, eyes tracing the broad line of his shoulders, the way the fabric of his shirt stretched across the muscles of his back with every step. She had walked into Hook bar hunting for this exact thing, a stranger who looked like he could take her apart and leave her aching. Someone who wouldn’t ask her name. She had found him. She wasn’t letting him walk away.
At the door to 308 her hands trembled only a little as she unlocked it. She turned to face him, pulse already loud in her throat.
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.”
He started to leave. She caught his wrist, fingers curling tight around the warm skin and bone.
He stopped. Looked down at her. Surprise flickered then something darker, heavier, interested.
Violet didn’t give either of them time to think. She pulled him in and crushed her mouth to his.
The kiss was deliberate and hungry from the first second. Soft only long enough for her to taste the whiskey still lingering on his tongue, then deeper, wetter. She made a small sound against his lips when his hand slid to the small of her back and dragged her flush against him. The solid heat of his body pressed into every soft place on hers. She could feel him already half-hard against her stomach. Her heart kicked hard. She had planned this. She had chosen him. And still the first real contact sent a sharp, liquid thrill straight between her thighs.
He didn’t pull away.
“You asked for it,” he murmured against her mouth, voice rough.
She answered by opening for him completely, tongue sliding against his, hips pressing forward.
His other hand came up to cup the side of her neck, thumb stroking the hinge of her jaw as he kissed her like he already owned the right. The kiss turned filthy, slow, deep, full of heat and promise. When he finally broke away it was only far enough to speak against her lips.
“Last chance.”
Violet reached behind him, shoved the door open, and pulled him inside. The room was dim, lit only by the single lamp near the window. She closed the door and turned the lock with a soft, final click.
He watched her for a second, eyes dark and assessing. Then he was on her again, mouth claiming hers, hands already finding the zipper of the red dress. The fabric whispered down her body and pooled at her feet in a soft red heap. She stepped out of it without looking away from him.
Underneath she wore the black lace she had chosen for this exact moment, thin, delicate, already damp between her thighs. The cups barely contained her breasts; the tiny triangle between her legs was soaked through.
He exhaled slowly, gaze dragging over every inch of her like a physical touch.
Then his hand was at her throat, not squeezing, just resting there, thumb brushing the frantic pulse beneath her skin. The other settled heavy on her hip, fingers sliding under the lace to stroke the bare curve of her ass.
“You’re sure?”
“I didn’t come here to talk.” Her voice came out breathless. “I came here to get fucked.”
That was all he needed.
He walked her backward until the backs of her thighs hit the mattress. She sat, then leaned back as he followed her down, bracing over her on strong arms. The weight of him pressed her into the bed. When he kissed her again it was slower, deeper, like he intended to take his time now that the door was locked and she was under him in nothing but wet black lace.
Violet’s hands moved with growing urgency. She unbuttoned his shirt, shoved it off his shoulders, palms sliding over warm muscle and the faint trail of hair that disappeared beneath his waistband. His breathing changed under her touch. When her fingers reached his belt he caught her wrist, held it for a beat, looking down at her with something unreadable and hungry in his eyes.
Then he let go.
Clothes hit the floor in a messy scatter. Cool air touched bare skin. She barely noticed. He settled between her thighs, the thick, hard length of him pressing against the soaked lace still covering her. She arched up, seeking friction, and a soft, needy sound escaped her throat.
He kissed down the side of her neck, lips brushing the sensitive spot just below her ear, then lower, open-mouthed and slow. One hand slid between them, pushing the lace aside. Two fingers dragged through her wetness, circling her c**t with deliberate pressure before sinking deep.
Violet’s head tipped back against the pillow, a broken moan spilling out of her.
“f**k,” he muttered against her throat, feeling how ready she was. “You’re soaked.”
He worked her with those fingers until her hips were rolling against his hand, until she was panting and reaching for him. Only then did he pull the lace down her legs and toss it aside. He settled between her thighs again, the blunt head of his c**k sliding through her folds, coating himself in her.
She was trembling.
He pushed in slow at first, one long, controlled thrust that forced the air from her lungs and stretched her open around him. Violet’s nails dug into his back. He didn’t stop until he was buried to the hilt, hips flush against hers, the thick pulse of him throbbing deep inside.
For a moment he just held there, letting her feel every inch.
Then he started to move.
The rhythm was relentless from the start, deep, hard, the wet sound of their bodies meeting filling the quiet room. She met every thrust, legs wrapping tight around his waist, heels digging into the backs of his thighs to pull him deeper. The careful plan, the fiancé waiting at home, the calculated betrayal, all of it burned away under the heat of him f*****g her like he had nowhere else to be and all night to do it.
“Look at me,” he said, voice rough with strain.
She did. Blue eyes half-lidded, lips parted and shiny, cheeks flushed. He held her gaze as he drove into her harder, angling deeper until every thrust dragged a broken, helpless sound from her throat. One of his hands slid under her ass, tilting her hips so he could grind against that perfect spot inside her with every stroke.
The pressure built fast and vicious.
Violet clung to him, legs locked, chasing the edge with desperate little rolls of her hips. When it hit, it hit hard—her body clamping down around him in tight, pulsing waves, a sharp cry muffled against his neck as she came. He f****d her through it, relentless, until she was shaking and oversensitive and still begging for more with the way she held onto him.
Only then did he let go.
His rhythm broke. Hips stuttered. A low, guttural groan tore from his chest as he buried himself as deep as he could go and came hard, flooding her in thick pulses while her body still fluttered around him.
For a long time neither of them moved.
Their breathing slowed in ragged sync. He stayed inside her, forehead resting against hers, one arm braced beside her head, the other still gripping her hip hard enough that she would bruise. Eventually he rolled to the side, bringing her with him so she ended up half on his chest, his softening c**k slipping free in a warm, wet rush that made her shiver.
Violet stared at the ceiling, pulse still racing, skin damp and hypersensitive. The red dress lay in a discarded heap on the floor. Black lace was somewhere near the foot of the bed. Between her thighs she felt the slow, sticky slide of what he had left inside her.
She had come looking for a stranger who wouldn’t ask her name.
She had found exactly that.
And for tonight, with his heartbeat steady under her cheek, the marks of his hands already blooming on her skin, and the deep, satisfying ache of him still between her legs, it was more than enough.
