The civil ceremony took place. I wore a simple, white A-line dress and white pumps while my groom wore a gray suit. Gunner gave me diamond stud earrings as a wedding present and it was the only piece of jewelry I wore until he put a gold wedding band on my ring finger. I did the same for him and he smiled at me.
