A few hours ago...
I was waiting for Gunner to return from dinner but I was so sleepy. I felt very weak from being sick for the last couple of days. And even on my third day, my stomach is a little queasy and I feel hot inside. It's funny how the doctor would check my temperature and say it's normal. Gunner would tell me the same thing.
I let myself drift off to sleep.
"Ale, wake up." The woman's voice was so soft and heavenly but I was far too sleepy to open my eyes. "You need to wake up. The time has come."
"Please, go away. I want to sleep some more."
Suddenly, I felt a weird pain and that's when I opened my eyes. It started at the tip of my fingers and toes and then it radiated towards my whole body. I felt like screaming but there was no sound coming out. I looked to the side
