The next few days were great. We had the house to ourselves and when mom and dad got back they started planning everything. It was funny to see my dad be so involved in all of this.
I told them that Poppy was going to move and said we could have the apartment. They looked a little down, but knew we couldn’t stay here forever. We agreed to stay here for a while since some renovations would need to be done on the apartment. Poppy liked it how it was and wouldn’t let mom update it one bit.
