CHAPTER 53
ROB’S POV
A doctor walked out of the open doors, glancing left and right as he took off his mask in exhaustion. I figured I was the one who was looking for.
I rushed toward him without hesitation. Cassy followed behind me quietly. She had come in behind us right after jenna was taken into the ward.
“Rob!” I acclaimed. “I’m Jenna’s husband, how’s she?”
The doctor didn’t speak immediately. His silence felt like a rope tightening around my neck. “How’s she, is she okay?” I repeated, this time my tone sounded a bit higher.
“She’s stable for now….”
“Oh ThankGod.” Cassy breathed.
“But we’re going to have to induce labor.” He uttered calmly.
“What?” We both chorused and looked at the doctor stunned. “She’s not due until two month, so how?” I said.
