ISABELLE’S POV
“I’ll be back soon, after that we’d begin with the ultrasound.” The nurse said.
The minute she was about to step out of the door, I quickly grabbed onto her hand. “Please wait.”
She turned back, staring at me with a guarded expression.
I took in a few deep breaths, before revealing what I’d told no one till now. “I’m not actually pregnant.”
“Excuse me?” Her face froze. She looked utterly confused.
I straightened my body up on the bed. “I’m not pregnant,” I repeated. “Please…I know this might sound a bit crazy, but the man outside has no idea about what I just told you.”
