CHAPTER 33
JENNA’S POV
“I don’t think I want this baby.” I blurted without hesitation.
I sat there, with fingers knotted in my lap.
The doctor stared at me with a surprising look. “Jenna, maybe you need some time to think about this.”
My mind was already made up. There was nothing else to think about.
“What are my options?”
“Hmmm, well we’d need to run some more tests and possibly a scan to get clearer information before making any decisions.” The doctor continued. “But I strongly recommend you take some time to think this through.”
“It’s just….” My voice broke. “Things have been a bit rough for me these past few weeks and I’m not really sure about raising a child yet.”
She didn’t interrupt. Just listened.
“And please, I wouldn’t want my grandfather to hear a word of this.”
