CHAPTER 60
JENNA’S POV
While I was still wallowing in my previous thoughts Cassy walked back into the kitchen. “A letter for you.” She said, handing down the brown envelope.
I ripped the seal carefully and pulled out a piece of paper. It was a notice. A custody hearing schedule.
My breath left me immediately.
“What is it?” Cassy questioned curiously.
“I’m not the only one filing for custody.”
“What?” She exclaimed, snatching away the paper.
“And they’ve scheduled a hearing.” I added. I never imagined it would ever come to this but then it did.
