Hunter carried Mattie downstairs to the kitchen. Even though she insisted on walking, he wanted his mate to take it easy after the long night that they had together. Breakfast was light in conversation as they were the last to arrive. All of the girls were filling their stomachs with food, recharging. Mattie picked at her food, eating bacon, fruit, and toast.
