3rd Person POV “Php50,000,000” “No more higher than 50M?” “Php50,500,000!” “Php75,000,000!” "Php100,000,000" "Php150,000,000!" The room started to fill with loud murmurs and claps. Some well-known people increased their bids for the mansion, which is known for being the oldest and most elegant mansion in the Province of Poblin. The mansion is estimated to be older than a century. There are 27 spacious rooms inside with antique equipment. Raywell's POV "Sir, the auction for the Mansion de Salvacion started 15 minutes ago." My head turned to my secretary after I heard what he said. "What? Why didn't you tell me, Jarvis?" I immediately stood up from my desk and grabbed my keys. "Sir, you were in a meeting earlier. I couldn't disturb you." "Let's go before someone else buys it." I told Jarvis. "B-but Sir, you still have a meeting with-" "Cancel it. Jarvis, if that mansion goes to someone else's, I'll fire you." I cut Jarvis off and saw him running ahead of me to the parking lot. *** "Bro, what's with that mansion that you really want for you to cancel one of our most important deals? You already have a mansion! Your house is as big as mansion!" He asked while driving. "I wouldn't get it if it's not important to me. I believe that my bisabuela inherited it." I answered. "Wooah! Your bisabuela?! Then why don't you just check the records and papers of that mansion!" Jarvis exclaimed. "It's too late for that and it's a long process. This way is the easiest. Unless you personally want to volunteer to check the records of that century old mansion." I smirked at him. "Ha ha! I'm glad you're a freaking billionaire, Mr. Raywell. Let's just empty your bank accounts and bring home the bacon." Jarvis answered in a little nervous laugh. Jarvis is my best friend and is also my secretary. We went to the same college where I met him. But we are in two different worlds. I was born into a rich family, and he's into the opposite. I used to bully him with my groups back then. I made him do my activities and papers. One time, we were having an exam in Philippine history, in which I didn't have any interest, when I asked him for a copy of his answers. The professor caught us and brought us to the principal's office, where we received our punishment. I felt guilty as he received a heavy punishment that made him almost lose his scholarship. Out of guilt, I took him out to eat and apologize for it. He became my closest friend eventually. "So what's with that mansion again?" he asked again. "My abuela mentioned it many times when she was still here. And that I have to see that place at least once." I answered. "Why?" asked Jarvis "No idea. I'll see to it once it's mine. Besides, that mansion is a really big catch. Many wanted to have it." I don't know what's in there, but one thing is for sure, it is very important to my abuela. And for some reason, I am feeling nervous *** NOTE: Here is the Chapter 1!! Please support this work by reading it. I would highly and truly appreciate it. --Margaux.
