Shawn spent most of the next day in the hotel room he’d managed to find. It wasn’t a great place, and it had cost twice as much as it should’ve. But they had space for a couple of nights, and he didn’t want to spend another hour on Bo’s couch. Then he’d have to answer questions and talk about why he wasn’t sleeping on the couch anymore. He didn’t want to do either of those things. Near mid-afternoon, he called Jason, knowing it would be a terrible conversation.
