Fraser’s POV

“Do you know how to fight?” he asked so I nod. I was taught along with my brothers, so yeah. Buts is been a long time so I… whatever “Great cause we got company” he said while smirking. “Yours in the left and mine’s in the right, ready?” he asked.

He was the first one to move and I forgot to dodge, earning a bruise under my lips. He launched again with a kick but this time I dodged and returned his kick right in his nose. I heard it cracked as he touched his nose. Whoopsies, that’s going to hurt. Well, he hurt me too, it’s only fair! I did a kick right in his crotch and I know I’ll feel guilty about this. Who wouldn’t be? “I’m sorry, man that’s life,” I said while finishing the last blow in his head, killing him. We don’t need a witness like him.

Phew! That was a lot of work. I frowned when I saw Reese sitting at the guy's back, looking at me bored. I can’t even see a scratch on his face. Now that’s unfair. “It took you a lot of time” teasing me with his stupid grin. What a sucker! “Anyways we better go before they’ll know I was gone.” We ran again for a few more minutes, avoiding the path. “Are we there yet?” I frowned this is the 10th time.

“Yep, how about you follow me instead” I groaned, why didn’t I think about this in the first place.

“That sounds nice!”

What am I going to do after this? I can’t just yeet and leave. How will Rufus and Jino react when I decided of moving far away from here? I can’t just let my brother come with me because I being the selfish one. He has responsibilities and he can help some omegas here. I can’t even bring Jino because he’s mate with my brother. That just sucks!

“Having trouble?” Reese asked, worried like I’m some kind of weak piece of paper. I glared at him. “Chill, I was just asking.” He raised both hands in surrender.

He took a sniff “There’s a human up ahead” he exclaimed. I forgot to tell him. Why I am so forgetful these days?

I rubbed my nape “He's with me and my brother” I muttered. He was alert facing me with his fighting pace. “My brother’s innocent! He didn’t know while my friend gave us a vehicle for our escape” he was still unconvinced and my habit is starting, the fiddling of hands!

“How can you make sure that your brother isn’t a two-faced person?”

“I assure you! He isn’t because I know him” I argued and make sure to look straight in his face, not breaking any contact.

Finally, he snorted and looked away. “Whatever! Don’t look at me like that” he’s starting to get irritated and that is my goal. “Get that stupid grin out your face! You’re getting on my nerves already”

I was known for my troublesome and being annoying to other people, I don’t like. Yes, I like him to be my friend but I want to see his wrinkles showing.

“I. DON’T. WANT. TO” I teased him more, still wearing my effective grin. “Why is it wrong?” I act innocent and stick out my tongue a little, doing a goofy face. Y’all think I’m being childish b*tch and getting my death wish.

I know he's more skilled in fighting than me but who cares. He was a little buff with lean shoulders. It’s funny because he has a cute feminine face but sad to say I was the twink. Even if I’m a twink, I have abs and a little biceps that I’m proud of!

He tried to kick me and I caught just in time then giving him the face, he did before. Treating him like a piece of sh!t. “You know what? That’s it you’re going down, boy!” he yelled and chased me.

“Ha! Speak for yourself. You look girly and weak to me thou” I can see him fuming with madness. It’s my cue to…skedaddle! He looked like a cute angry anime girl minus his body.

He started to catch up with me so I accelerated my pace, enough to gap our distance. We were almost there! I can see my brother trying to calm down the other omegas and Jino frowning at Rufus's every move. I know that face! Every day I saw people doing that face while watching me buy expensive stuff like cars, watch, clothes, etc. Enough about me, Jino was jealous and it means one thing. It’s because he’s into-

“Caught you, you little son of a b*tch!” he asserted while strangling me like a mad man and I being an i***t. “Who’s girly and weak now?!” I guess I went overboard?

Before I died single, Reese was pushed off me. I was catching my breath and I bet my neck will be bruised. Rufus grabbed my hand and stepped in front of me protectively. “Get out of my way!” he had this scary aura surrounding him.

Okay, I was wrong! Note to self; never teased Reese again period.

A little bit won’t hurt J

I stand between, which means giving Reese access to kill me. I put a hand right on his face, stopping him. I still see his intention of killing me “Reese babe, I’ll stop teasing you” I might have fueled his anger because he started pulling my ear like a mother punishing her child.

“Ouch! Fine, I’m sorry and this time I mean it” I said sincerely. He let go of my ear and walked past me. I touched my ear. I sighed in relief because my ear is still intact with my head.

 Note to self; I’ll never ever tease him again, ever. Not even a tins bitsy. I crossed my heart before he dies. I promise!

I took a breath and face them with a smile. “He’s not dangerous, he’s here to help us rescue those omegas,” I explained shortly. I wanted to fiddle my hands so badly but I need to look professional and convincing.

“Who is he?” my brother asked, glaring at him.

“My name is Reese, just Reese.” He introduces wearing his poker face.  “Just like he said, I’m here to help you three escorting them to safety.” My brother is still looking at him, more like scanning Reese's inner self. That’s what he always does to strangers.

“Forgive me for my rudeness. My name’s Rufus Henris”

“Mine’s Jino!”

“Now all the introductions are done. Shall we go already?” I asked. They all agreed, still Jino going with me but this time, Reese is joining Rufus at the other bus.

The ride was silent. The engines and wheels working are the only noise we heard. I saw Auden near us. He looks traumatized like he was abused his whole life. It’s the same as the rest. I’ll give them medication to move on from their traumatic experience.

Then I heard my phone ringing, it was from Tegan. I don’t want to answer it so I ignored it at first. It was starting to be bothersome so I made Jino take the call, volume up the sound “Fraser! Where are you right now?” he asked. I can hear him gritting his teeth. “Are you with Rufus? I’ve been calling him a couple of times but he's not answering his calls.” He was pissed, very pissed. RIP Rufus!

“I’m with my friend, Jino and Rufus are not with me but I bet he's busy having s*x right now” I lied while keeping my neutral face.

My mouth is full of lies.

Starting with my brother’s s*x life, his virgin, and I wanted to see Jino’s reaction. It was satisfying actually because earlier, I can smell him. He had s*x before meeting us in front of the garage so he needs to learn and realize his mistake even though he doesn’t know our world’s existence. “Anyways, is mom home?” I asked starting to feel anxious. What if, I’m tired of what-ifs, let’s just hope that they have no idea that I know already.

“Mom and dad aren’t here yet” he was heaving slowly. “So you better get home before they get here” he added and ended the call. I know his stress lately.

He was next in line from being an alpha. The packmates have to grate hopes for him; pressuring him to this and that like he was some kind of puppet. It’s tough and if it was me, I’d die in seconds.

“Berrypie! You’re spacing out, I don’t want to die a virgin unlike you” Jino complained while grouching in his seat. Let me make this clear, he’s not a virgin. His verse, both bottom, and top. I’m straight as a d**k but still, ain’t a virgin no more.

“Hey Jino can you take my place, I’m gonna go ask Reese?” I begged. He was not batting his eyelashes on me. “This is not the right time to hold a grudge”

“My hands hurt. Do you have an ointment?”

“You didn’t do anything, as a matter of fact, you're just tagging along. Now come here!”

“Hey, the funny thing is, apparently I snore so loudly that it scares everyone in the car I'm driving” Jino blurted holding his cheek.

I almost growled but stayed calm “What? I don’t speak i***t!” I snap trying not to bare my teeth to him

“Oh my god berry pie, I don’t know you have it in you” he sneered and took my place. I quickly call Rufus.

“Can you give the phone to Reese and by the way Tegan is asking where you are. Did you give him a believable alibi?” he hums quietly as he gave it to Reese. Means it’s not that that strong.

I can hear shuffling at the other line. “What?” I can imagine his deadpan looks. “If you wanna ask where will go”

“Rufus and Jino can’t come with us” I cut in.

“I figure that out. That’s why we’re on our way in the pack, ah no, to your friend’s house.” He inserted, ending the call. I’m glad I don’t need to explain it.  The next thing I know, I’m the one driving. Some of them are yawning especially Jino and some are already sleeping. I can’t just drop them off the pack or our house. First and foremost, we have the omegas with us and we can’t just return or they’ll just get sold again. Second, there’s Jino a human.  Last, I can’t go back there anymore.

I can’t face them when I’m still in a state of shock especially when I’m not sure if my brothers are into this. I just can’t get the fact that my parents do that. There are so many reasons why I won’t go back but I know soon…

Stopping, I grabbed Jino. Waking him up in his slumber and slap my arms. He was a little heavy but with help with my athletic body, I managed. “Where are you taking me?” he grumbled while rubbing his eyes. It was the same with Rufus. He was struggling hard.

“Let go of me! Where are we in front of Jino’s house? Hey Fraser, what are we doing here?” my heart was still threatening to burst forth from my ribcage. Tears wanted to pour out. My mind telling me to stay strong so as I was about to confess. The air was the only thing that came out of my mouth. “Tell me, Fraser! Why are you putting handcuffs on me?” I know he was starting to understand the situation. He's not dumb like Jino.

“I’m… sorry! Y-you can’t c-come with…us” I stammered. I’m not ready for this kind of stuff. Heck, I didn’t know that on the day of my birthday, I’ll be gone. “Rufus, I can’t bring you with me” I mumbled. I can’t look at him.

“What do you mean?” his tears were already pouring out. I want to hug him so badly but I can’t. “Fraser, look at me. Tell me you aren’t doing this. You’re not living me!” he was my big brother. He's the only brother who cares about my being.

“I’m sorry brother. Take care of yourself. I don’t know when I’m coming back or…” Jino was tearing up like a baby.

I’m gonna miss them so much. “Jino take care of yourself and my brother. Don’t give up on love. Remember even if everyone in this world against you. There’s still someone who cares for you.” I force a smile. “Even if you’re crazy, all the time” I chuckled.

“Don’t be like that!” he cried, slapping my face. “You’re coming back right?” I nodded, he was such a sweetheart. He just lost, broken, and with my brother’s help. He will move on.

“See you soon!” I ran back to the bus. Staring the engine and turned away.

Leaving my home, Rufus, Jino, and my life…
