The way things just happen, amaze me sometimes. Here I was, just thinking of how to buy my secret from Luna Criseda then I got a blank cheque from her puppet.
“I didn't know you were this frightened, Gina.”
“That's not it Soraya, I just don't want any issues with anybody and I've made peace with Kaida and she has forgiven me.”
I scoffed. “You keep on repeating these words like you're trying to convince yourself or make yourself believe that she has forgiven you.”
“Because she has.”
“Okay… did you tell her the real reason why you betrayed her? Is she aware?” I asked.
I saw how she flinched and staggered. “What matters is that she has forgiven me, nothing else matters.”
“No… she hasn't forgiven you. You could have told her the truth. And does your master know too?”
