Kaida's POV
I closed my eyes as I perceived his scent very close to me with his lips right on mine. I didn't know what was happening, but I knew we were about to kiss.
“Damon……” I slowly muttered his name with my eyes closed as I remained close to him.
He didn't say a word, instead, he maintained his position, with our eyes both closed.
“I…….” Damon started but was suddenly cut off as we both heard a knock on the door.
Thankfully, there was a knock and no one barged in because it would be a mess to find me, the Luna and the beta in such a reckless position.
I didn't even know what I was thinking and why I didn't even drift apart from him as soon as we were very close.
The minute we both heard the knock on the door, we drifted apart instantly.
We both cleared our throat and acted
