Kaida's POV
The last thing I remembered was almost being killed by Alpha Kael's men. He was ready to devour me with his long claws all out to rip out my chest.
Then suddenly, everything else was a blur. I slowly opened my eyes and saw him—the same stranger from the woods.
He was there, looking at me, along with another girl I hadn't seen before. The first thing I asked was where I was.
Everything around me was unfamiliar, and I felt lost. But instead of answering, the stranger asked me who I was.
I looked at him, my voice shaky. "Wh... what did you do to me?"
I noticed I was feeling lighter, a bit better so I just had to ask.
