DAMON’S POV
I had come to Alpha Luther's room to ask a few questions and get clarification on the task he had assigned me as regards the weapons we would use in a week's time when I bumped into the one person I had been avoiding for the past two weeks.

Immediately my eyes beheld hers, I was mesmerized for a second, but in the next second, before i could think twice, i had my back to her as i walked away hastily.
How come I didn't know she would be there. She was the last person I wanted to see at this moment and I didn't care if I was being petty or not.
Seeing her in Alpha Luther's room two weeks ago had broken my heart. I had wished against all odds that my eyes were deceiving me but I was wrong. It was Kaida and I could see her face clearly as much as she could see mine.
