"What exactly did Soraya take from you that will make you sneak into her house without permission?" Alpha Kael asked me and my insides churned.
Was he really siding her over me? Was it my fault that he was bethrothed to me and ended up with me? Did I have a choice myself? Why was he acting like I forced myself on him?
"It's nothing of importance to anyone but me." I muttered inaudibly .
