When Soraya burst into the room, she didn't even realize that making breakfast wasn't my problem.
I could still remember the previous night and how Alpha Kael treated me like trash. I gulped hard and gently stood up.
"What the hell is wrong with you? When did you start oversleeping?" Soraya's voice cut through my thoughts like a knife.
I didn't listen. I just ignored her rants and complaints, waiting for her to leave my room. I needed to clean up the mess—the shattered pieces of the test result from last night.
