I remembered she had no blankets or anything to keep her warm as the rain was about to fall, so I had to get her one, only to walk into her room and find my beta there.
“It’s raining, so I—”
“I know it’s raining,” I interrupted. “My question is, what were you doing here before it started to rain?”
Damon looked at me, I could see frustration in his eyes. “Is there an issue, Luther? Why exactly am I being questioned?”
“Because you were sneaking in,” I said sharply. “I didn’t even tell you the exact room she was in.”
“Alpha Luther,” Kaida called out softly, and I turned to her. “I was the one who told him to come in when it started to drizzle.”
