Chapter Three: Good Girl

Sasha eyes opened sleepy as she saw the bright yellow sun shining through her window. “s**t” she mumbled. It was extremely late in the afternoon, that long night with Kai really took a toll on her. She smiled, as she debated should she ignore him or should she text back. She decided to ignore it. I can’t allow myself to be what Malachi had been in the past. You look troubled..” she trailed off. “Oh no I swear Mom, I’m just tired still from my journey and being up all night.” Sasha said with a wide smile hoping it would stave off her mothers questions. “If you say so Sasha, but remember I’m always here to chat about anything big or small.” Her mother looked over her with concerned eyes. “I know Mom, it really is nothing.” She quickly picked up her plate and pushed her chair out and headed to the sink. She gave her Mother a tight squeeze and darted out the door towards the stairs. Thank God that’s over she thought. Excitement built in her as she approached her room. All in hopes that she would get to speak to him.
