Chapter Two: Oh I’m Kai..

Sasha picks up her controller and slides her fingers across the back of it enjoying the smooth feel of it. It’s been so long she thought to herself. She browses her vast library of games and finally selects one. Hours pass without her noticing, she’s completely engrossed. A ding of a notification startles her as she reads the bottom of the screen, a party invite from someone in the game she is currently playing. A party is a voice communication on her gaming console. She felt her heart race as her social anxiety kicks in she hates speaking to strangers. Should I accept it? She thought to herself. She traces the button to accept the invite and quickly clicks it. The ding notifies that someone new has joined.

“Hello?” She said. “Hiya” a shrill male voice said. “You want to play some more games together?” Sasha inhaled and with her exhale said “Sure! Invite me?” As they played several people joined the party. All excited that a girl was with them as it clearly wasn’t a regular occurrence. “What’s your name?” Said one boy with an exceptionally deep voice. “Im Sasha” she purred, throughly enjoying the attention she was getting from all these boys, she had become use to being a door mat in Malachi’s presence and he very rarely acknowledged her in anyway other than when he wanted s*x. “That’s a pretty name” he purred back. “Thank you!” She was glad there was a screen between them so he couldn’t see her cheeks go a fiery red blush.

After many hours of people coming and going, the party lulled to quite as everyone got tired and either fell asleep or left. Sasha was left alone playing but still enjoyed her escape from reality.

Suddenly the ding from a notification sounded through her earphones. “Hello?” a smooth deep voice said. Sasha immediately straightened up, the strangers voice sent chills through her. Should I answer she thought to herself. “Hello? Is anyone there?” “Just me” she said in a hushed tone. “And who are you?” he said back. “My name is Sasha, What is your name?” She heard him inhale sharply like he was dragging from a cigarette. “Oh I’m Kai” he said nonchalantly. “Where is everyone?” he asked in a deep seductive tone. “Oh there either sleeping or gone for food I’d say.” “Hmmm.. he paused. Do you want to play with me?” “I don’t mind” she chimed back. “So Sasha.. what do you look like?” he asked as she heard another sharp inhale. “Umm, I don’t know I have black hair and green eyes, I’m about 5ft 4 hmmm I’m not sure what else.. that doesn’t really paint a bright picture does it” she giggled. He chuckled back, “You sound pretty beautiful honestly.” She gasped slightly as his tone sent shivers through her. Why does this person I just met seem so sexy she furrowed her brows with anxiety. Never had she felt so much s****l tension with someone that she just met, not even met. Heard. “Here you go!” Kai said. A notification displayed at the bottom of the screen showing an impending friend request, she rapidly accepted. “So what we playing?” “Anything I don’t mind” Yet another notification came up and it was for a tactical shooter. She accepted but knew how horrible this would go as she wasn’t very good at these types of games. “To warn you, I’m awful at this game.” He chuckled, “That’s okay, I’ll carry you.” She giggled and then began to play. Every game for her went horrible but Kai ascended to the top of the leaderboard every round and kept his promise of carrying her.She felt embarrassed that she was so completely useless but he didn’t seem to mind. Sasha in general was not the conversationalist, she usually only spoke when she was spoken too, but Kai made it so easy to chat to even when he had to take the whole responsibility of the game on his shoulders.

They played till dawn and laughed the night away, she peered out her window and saw the sun beginning to rise. “Damn” she said. I really better get to bed Kai. “Big plans tomorrow?” Kai purred. “With your boyfriend perhaps.” “No, No, no plans just it’s late. “Fair enough” he sighed. She could feel his longing for her to stay. She rubbed her eyes sleepily. I’ll be on tomorrow, more than likely if you want to play again.” “Oh definitely” he sounded excited. “Before you go though, we’re do you live?” I’m in England, how about you Kai?” “New York.” “Ohhh so far away! Sasha exclaimed and at the same time felt disappointed that he was such a distance. “That’s so cool though I’ve always wanted to go there!” “It is nice here, you should come sometime!” His tone was so sexy Sasha felt her c**t throb. His voice was heavenly and it felt like he would take her right there and then if he wasn’t so far away. She pressed her thighs together with the thought. How could she feel like this? She hasn’t even seen his face?

“Anyways I’m going to head to bed” she said while yawning. “Hey! um Sasha.. Do You Have i********:?” “I do! Stifling a yawn. She gave him her details and gave him a sweet goodnight. He blew her a kiss “Sleep tight Sasha”. With that she hit the button to her console to turn it off and leapt on her bed checking her phone one last time before shutting her eyes. Still no new messages. Oh well she said as she thought about Kai and his beautiful voice. Tomorrow will be a good day. I just know it she thought to herself as she drifted to sleep.
