During the day The Meat Packing District was just that, an area in lower Manhattan consisting of meat packing plants. At night, however, the MPD was transformed into something much different—a thriving expression of culture and the New York City nightlife, a place where all proclivities met and people from all around the city came to party, regardless of background and affluence.
