Six Cara awoke in a cold sweat. It was just after 4:00am and she immediately flung her body out of bed and began touching herself all over to make sure she wasn’t made of snakes. This briefly startled Dolmen but didn’t entirely wake him. “Don’t smoke weed in the walk-in, bozo…” he said in a groggy and slurred timbre. “I’m sorry I was so mean to you, baby,” Cara said, quickly realizing he wasn’t really awake. “Only one shoe?” he said, slightly disappointed. “But I have two feet,” Cara felt a sudden urge to paint. There was no way she could fall back asleep. She tried not to think about what it might mean that the dreams had started again. As disturbing as the dream was, she felt inspired to create for the first time in what seemed like far too long. She didn’t have any goal or purpose
