“Are you really that stupid Leah?” The anger and frustration that seeped from his voice were all too clear but all Leah could focus on were the words that left his lips regarding her sister.
“What did you just say right now?” She whispered in a shaky voice, her shock and disbelief disorienting her.
“You’re unbelievable! And here I thought you were left in the dark the entire time.”
“What did you say about my sister?” She screamed over him, silencing him. Her eyes pricked with tears and her hands shook at her sides. There was no way she heard him right the first time.
Asher went silent for a while, his eyes raking over her face. He looked deep in thought for a while before he finally spoke.
“Caspian killed your sister and your parents.”
