When the wolf left Leah’s side to scrounge for food as per his message carved into the rock, Laura had grown frustrated.
Her sister didn’t need food nor water. She needed blood. Vemons like vampires could survive on only blood. The more blood they drank, the stronger they were. There was absolutely no need for actual food unless one just desired to enjoy the taste of it. As kids they’d needed the food because they were more mortal than anything but not any longer.
Neither of them actually needed food to survive. Laura for a completely different reason from Leah. Laura didn’t need it because she was well. . . dead.
Leah had stubbornly not taken any blood for days before this mission had rolled by. Laura of course knew the reason for that but she didn’t get why her sister still resisted
