Whenever Scarlet had awoken again, she found either Mia or Ripley holding a vigil next to her bed. Oddly whenever her father came to visit her in the hospital room filled with gifts, it was always Mia with her, who apparently had started greeting her father with hugs, which seemed to surprise him every time.
But they weren’t her only visitors, Mr and Mrs Gage came to visit a few times as well as Mia’s parents, Greg and Joanne, who insisted she call them by their given names and even some of the cheerleaders and Emerson.
Scarlet was surprised when her father informed her that they would be moving into a new house on pack lands to help with her protection. He also mentioned when he handed over a few snacks to her that they would start with training for self-defence when she was better.
