The annoying sound of her alarm woke her from an enjoyably peaceful dream, confusing her to the point where she managed to automatically turn it off and then turned back onto her back to process what had happened. She had dreamed that she had been floating weightlessly through the forest past the old tree and the fallen-down wall of the abandoned stone cottage. She had felt so free and at ease, like she’d never felt before, peacefully staring at her surroundings bathed with a faint blue light.
