Arianna's eyes locked onto Nadia's, and she felt a shiver run down her spine. What was Victor's sister doing here? And why did she look so menacing?
Ryder seemed to sense Arianna's unease, and he stepped forward, his eyes narrowing. "Nadia, what are you doing here?" he asked, his voice firm.
Nadia's gaze didn't waver. "I've been watching you, Ryder," she said, her voice dripping with malice. "I know all about your little plan to take down Dickson Logan."
Sophia stepped forward, her eyes flashing with anger. "What do you want, Nadia?" she spat.
Nadia's smile was cold. "I want to make sure you don't succeed," she said. "Dickson Logan may be a monster, but he's a monster who can help me achieve my goals."
Arianna felt a surge of confusion. What goals was Nadia talking about? And why was she so determined to stop them?
Ryder's expression was grim. "We're not going to back down, Nadia," he said. "We're going to take down Dickson Logan, no matter what it takes."
Nadia's laughter was like ice. "You're no match for Dickson Logan," she said. "He'll crush you, and I'll make sure he does."
As Nadia turned to leave, Arianna felt a sense of unease. What had they just gotten themselves into? And who was Nadia, really?
As they watched Nadia disappear into the night, Ryder turned to Arianna and Sophia. "We need to be careful," he said. "Nadia's not someone to be underestimated."
Sophia nodded. "I agree," she said. "We need to find out more about her and what she's after."
Arianna felt a surge of determination. They were in this together, and they were going to take down Dickson Logan, no matter what it took.
But as they turned to leave, Arianna couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched. And this time, she knew it wasn't just her imagination.
As they walked away from the scene, Arianna couldn't help but wonder what Nadia's true motives were. What did she stand to gain by helping Dickson Logan?
Ryder seemed to sense her unease and put a reassuring arm around her shoulders. "We'll figure out what Nadia's after," he said. "But for now, let's focus on getting out of here safely."
Sophia nodded in agreement. "We need to lay low for a while," she said. "Dickson Logan's goons could be anywhere."
Arianna felt a shiver run down her spine. She had never felt so vulnerable in her life. But with Ryder and Sophia by her side, she felt a sense of determination wash over her. They were in this together, and they would see it through.
As they made their way back to their safe house, Arianna couldn't help but wonder what other surprises lay in store for them. But one thing was certain: they would face whatever came their way, together.
When they arrived at the safe house, Ryder immediately began to scan the area for any signs of danger. Sophia started to check the security cameras, while Arianna went to the kitchen to make some coffee.
As she waited for the coffee to brew, Arianna's mind began to wander. She thought about her mother, and how she was doing. She thought about Dickson Logan, and how she was going to take him down. And she thought about Ryder, and how she was starting to develop feelings for him.
Just as Arianna was starting to get lost in her thoughts, Sophia called out to her. "Arianna, we have a problem," she said.
Arianna's heart skipped a beat. What now? She rushed out of the kitchen to find Sophia and Ryder huddled around the security monitor.
"What is it?" Arianna asked, feeling a sense of trepidation.
Sophia's expression was grim. "We've been breached," she said. "Someone's trying to hack into our system."
Arianna's eyes widened in shock. Who could be behind this? And what did they want?
Ryder's face was set in a determined expression. "We need to act fast," he said. "We can't let them get into our system."
But as they started to work on securing their system, Arianna couldn't shake off the feeling that they were running out of time.
Ryder's fingers flew across the keyboard as he worked to block the hacker's access. Sophia stood beside him, her eyes fixed on the screen as she helped to monitor the system.
Arianna felt a sense of helplessness wash over her. She wasn't a tech expert, and she didn't know how to help. But she knew she had to do something.
"Is there anything I can do?" she asked Ryder and Sophia.
Ryder nodded. "We need to get out of here," he said. "This place isn't safe anymore."
Sophia nodded in agreement. "We'll head to a secure location," she said. "Somewhere they can't find us."
Arianna felt a surge of fear. Where would they go? And how would they stay safe?
As they quickly gathered their belongings and made their way out of the safe house, Arianna couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched. She looked around, but saw nothing.
Ryder seemed to sense her unease. "We'll be okay," he said, putting a reassuring arm around her shoulders. "We just need to get out of here and regroup."
Arianna nodded, trying to feel more confident. But as they made their way through the crowded streets, she couldn't shake off the feeling that they were running out of time.
Suddenly, Ryder stopped in his tracks. "Wait," he said, his eyes fixed on something across the street.
Arianna followed his gaze, and her heart skipped a beat. There, standing on the corner, was Nadia. And she was staring straight at them.
"What does she want?" Sophia whispered, her eyes fixed on Nadia.
Ryder's expression was grim. "I don't know," he said. "But we're not going to find out. Let's get out of here."
And with that, they quickly turned and disappeared into the crowd, leaving Nadia and her sinister intentions behind.
