I woke to the beeping noise of a machine. Like the one from the hospitals. The smell of disinfectant and medicine made me assume that was where I was. With much effort, I slowly opened my eyes that seem to have been glued together. My attempt to sit up was fruitless. The feeding tube, IV line, and catheter were hindering my movement. Where am I and how did I get here? Studying the huge room, it contained a dining and sitting area with a fireplace and big-screen television.
