Soon, a cage was pushed into the centre of the stage and the entire stage was surrounded by bars as it turned into a big cage. A well-built man entered the cage wearing a mask.
He released the tiger from the cage. Everyone grasped in silence. The tiger circled the cage and roared.
The man took out his stick and controlled the tiger. Everyone watched in shock as the tiger slowly submitted and started to obey the man, roaring and bringing out his large and sharp nails.
The tiger jumped and sat on a stool and walked on two feet. Then the man set fire to circular rings and the tiger jumped and crossed the rings one, two at a time, then three at a time.
Spectators were mesmerized by the performance when someone shouted fire from a corner and soon everything turned into chaos. The curtain caught fire, and the petrol bottles kept near the curtains were pushed by someone while trying to escape from the fire.
The entire scene was chaotic. Everyone was running. When I was trying to get out of the hall, someone pushed me and my leg was injured. I tried to get up, but someone from the crowd stepped on my leg.
I screamed in pain, but no one had time to worry about me. Everyone was running for their lives as the entire hall was made of wood and decorated with satin cloth and curtains. In seconds, the entire hall was covered with flames.
I tried to get up again but still failed. I took support from the chair, tried to stabilize myself, and started limping towards the exit.
When I somehow managed to reach the door, the curtain above the door fell covered in flames, blocking the exit.
I was blocked in and surrounded by flames. The fire was so strong that my skin started to burn that it was becoming difficult for me to breathe as the hall was covered with smoke. I felt dizzy. I thought I was going to die in these flames when I felt someone coming towards me. I was not able to see who it was, but I felt a strong arm around me.
I wanted to see who it was but couldn’t open my eyes. When I opened my eyes again, it was already the afternoon of the next day, and it took a few minutes for me to realize that I was in the hospital.
The first thought that came to my mind was that I didn’t die in the fire, and second, that blurry figure who saved my life. Who was that person?
“You woke up.” A young nurse came to my bed and spoke Who brought me to the hospital, “I asked her”.
The police and firefighter team sent many people last night from the accident site of the circus. You were one among them, “she answered while checking my BP”
She left, and soon a doctor came to check on me. After making sure I didn’t have any problems, he informed me that as I didn’t have any issues, I would be discharged today. I agreed to it as I didn’t like the hospital. I found the bag that I was carrying yesterday under my pillow.
I finished the discharge process, took my medicine from the drug store near the hospital, hailed a taxi, and returned to my hotel.
